Canvas

Canvas of life has all sorts of colour;
some shades so prominent some so blur.

Blends of colour so perfect;
gloomy greys turn to beaming yellow;
tranquility of white flowing from introspective orange;
purple desires outlines complacent green;
angry red often blends into its guilt-striken shade.

Red appears yet again;
this time a smoother shade of love;
down the canvas it loses its flare;
and is smudged by pain.

Some portions have monotonous shades;
and some spring into lively rainbow;
some strokes of memory were lost in shades;
while some remain untampered.

Looking at the canvas,I realized;
there were patterns i never wished for;
there were shades i never wanted;
Then i look again at the vast patch of white waiting to be designed.
